Ball of Baby Spiders

In late October, 2002, I saw this little ball of baby spiders in a web in an azalea bush. The mother Green Lynx spider was nearby and the empty egg sack was just below.  I had to shrink this photo to 70% of the actual length and height in order to save web space.  The ball is about the size of a marble.
