Bee Fly
Everybody has seen this kind of thing flying around the house and probably did not pay much attention to it. Well, I saw one and did pay attention to it. It's a Bee Fly. I thought it was some kind of horsefly, but no, it's a Bee Fly. I looked it up in an insect book; the small antennae gave it away.
