Flatworm that eats earthworms
In June 2003, one of my neighbors found this mysterious creature crawling across the driveway. We did not know what it was; we had never seen anything like it before. After an internet search, we found out that it's a flatworm that eats earthworms. They are found all over the world and are a problem in some regions. It leaves a slimy trail. It is a type of planarian. The toothpick and penny are for scale.
