Wolf Spider with Arrow design
I photographed this wolf spider in July, 2001 in Mooresville, NC. Note the cool arrow design on its back. I caught the spider and put it in an aquarium containing 1 inch of white sand. Later, I released it in the woods because these spiders do not do well in captivity. I trimmed and compressed this 70 Kb. jpg image from the original 5.6 mb. bmp image.
I used a Sony MVC CD-1000 digital camera.
