Large Wolf Spider

I caught this fairly large wolf spider on 31 May 2001 and put it in an aquarium. I covered the bottom of the aquarium with about 1 inch of white sand. The original digital photo is flawless (1200X1600 pixels). Note the two major eyes with a row of four minor eyes below. Another pair of minor eyes appears to be above the large ones. In the dark, the eyes reflect an eerie green glow!!
This image is a 45kb. jpg image that has been reduced from the original 5 mb. digital camera image. This is why the background appears blocky. This reduction was necessary because of my limited webspace.
